Helena Jurczyk Obituary
She married Edward H. Jurczyk on June 25, 1960.
Mrs. Jurczyk had a long and dedicated career as an executive secretary, most recently working for General Dynamics until her retirement in 1998.
A communicant of St. Charles Church, she loved to read, do crossword puzzles and most of all, cherished time spent with her family.
Helena is survived by her husband of 65 years, Edward H. Jurczyk of Lanesborough; daughter, Monica Stankiewicz of Lanesborough, and son, Todd Jurczyk and wife Linda of Peabody, MA; grandchildren, Ian and Emma Stankiewicz and Dylan and Gavin Jurczyk. As well as her sister, Rena White of Indiana.
She was predeceased by her son in-law, Charles Stankiewicz; and her siblings, Mario, Alfred, George, Joseph, Leo, and Anthony Capitanio and Antoinette Grizey, Catherine Arment, Mary Bowler, Margaret McCormick, Theresa Punch, and Patricia LaGrant.
FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held, Friday, November 14, 2025 at 9 a.m. at St. Joseph Church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in her name to the American Macular Degeneration Foundation and mailed to Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford St, Pittsfield, MA 01201.
