David Steven Kalmbaugh, 75 of Oxnard, passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2022, following a 10-year battle with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma.
David was born on October 31, 1946, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and was a resident of Ventura County for the last 25 years.
David has been a licensed Attorney for over 45 years working for the US Government at the Naval Air warfare center and Point Mugu naval base. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and the Spanish Hills Country Club. He was an avid tennis player and loved hitting tennis balls and could often be seen on the tennis court across the street from his house.
David is survived by his brother John (Debbie) Kalmbaugh of Westerville, Ohio, sister Ann (Jerry) Reynolds from St. Augustine, Florida, nephew Ian Kalmbaugh, nieces Kerry Kalmbaugh, Erin Dennis, Casey Purcell, and Kelly Reynolds. David also leaves behind his best friend, his faithful and constant companion, his dog Brownie.
A visitation for David will take place on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, from 11-2p, with a funeral service at 12p at the Reardon Funeral Home, 511 North A St. Oxnard, Ca.
