David H. Kiley, age 65, of Edwardsville, IL, passed away on Friday, October 4, 2024, at Memorial Hospital in Shiloh, IL. David was born on August 10, 1959, in Delaware, OH, the son of the late Clarence F. & Linda L. (Chase) Kiley. David is survived by a sister, Cindy Bloodworth, of Glen Carbon, IL; a brother, Denny Kiley; two nieces, Amy Ross & her husband Jeremy, of Wood River, IL, and Clairice Kiley, of Edwardsville, IL; two great nephews; Isaac & Rolen Ross; two great nieces; Sage Ross and Nevaeh Kiley; and a great - great niece, Lucy Mielke. David was a devoted Big Brother. Whether he was chasing the next big win in Vegas with Denny, or the three of them all rooting for their favorite drivers at the local dirt track David always made sure to that his time with his siblings was well spent. David was also a very proud Uncle. He treated each one of his nieces and nephews like they were his own children. Instilling a love for adventure and exploration. David was very active and a big supporter of the drama & theatre clubs, as well as the thespian society. He also was a member of various choir groups which lead to him touring famous cathedrals across Europe. You could frequently find him in the audience at the local shows and plays. Recently he came out of retirement to perform in the Lighting of the Christmas Tree downtown. David lived a life of many adventures from Chicago to California, to his most cherished Alaska. He cherished his lifelong friends as well as made new ones along the way. To be loved by David was an honor to say the least. David was cremated according to his wishes.
