David Kimbrell Obituary
He was born September 5, 1947, in Moorhead, to Otha Lee Kimbrell and Sallie Rosa Kimbrell. He was a devoted farmer to his own Kimbrell Farms, and a devoted farm manger to Kansas Plantation, Inc., following his retirement. He was a loving family man, and a "Pop Pop" to many. He loved his people and the Lord deeply, and he best lived this out in his membership at Carrollton Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Marilyn Sue Kimbrell.
He is survived by his partner, Faye Randall of Carrollton; one son, Jason Kimbrell of Little Rock; one daughter, Ashley Ricotta and her husband, Joe of Madison; one brother, Donald Kimbrell of Ruleville; one sister, Mary Nell Methvin of (North Augusta, South Carolina); and three granddaughters, Mary Cecil Smith, Anna Davis Kimbrell, and Sally Parker Rowland.
The family will receive friends, Friday, November 10, 2023, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Burton Funeral Home, and Saturday, November 11, 2023, from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm at Carrollton Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held, Saturday, November 11, 2023, at 1:00 pm at Carrollton Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Indianola City Cemetery. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.
