David Anthony King, Jr., 52, of Ambridge, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at Allegheny General Hospital.
Born December 12, 1972, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late David A. King, Sr. and Dolores Hillebrecht King.
David was an avid concertgoer, attending over 150 concerts, his favorite being classic rock. He enjoyed attending Comic Cons and geeking out with his wife, Jennifer. He was a big kid, who loved movies, especially Star Wars and Gettysburg. One of his greatest accomplishments was becoming a published author. However, his most cherished role was being a loving cat dad and husband.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer King, of 30 amazing years.
David will be dearly missed by all of his friends and family. In David's last selfless act on earth, his gift of organ donation will give the gift of life to others.
As per David's wishes, all services were private.
Professional services were entrusted to CORLESS-MATTER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, LLC 1133 Church Street, Ambridge, PA. Online condolences may be shared at www.corlessfuneralhomes.com. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Corless-Matter Funeral Home in David's memory.

I first met David at FedEx in 2001 when I was an admin and he was in the Trace Department. It was easy being his friend because we both shared the same interests. We both loved comics, Star Wars and we were Pirates fans. Even after my years with FedEx were over, I still kept in touch with him on Facebook. David I'll miss your friendship. You were a good man, a good friend and I'm sure you're smiling down on us today.
