David Kinser

Arthur David Kinser, 73, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by family on February 17th after a 3-year battle with an aggressive cancer. David was born August 24, 1949, in Independence, Missouri and moved to Oklahoma City where he lived the rest of his life. He graduated from Northwest Classen and eventually from Oklahoma Baptist University, where he met the love of his life, Pamela Harlan. They were married for 46 years. David owned Kinser Construction Company for over 40 years. He valued attention to detail and his relationship with his customers. David loved teaching youth and spending time serving those he taught.
David is survived by his wife, Pam; his children, Ryan, Grant, Kyle, and Lauren; his daughters- and son-in-law Desiree, Lisa, and Jason; and his grandchildren Lucy, Sam, Austen, Jennings, Cora, Theo, Daphne, and Ozzy.
A memorial service to remember and celebrate David's life will be held Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at 2:00PM at Northwest Baptist Church in Oklahoma City.
After nearly 35 years, David was encouraged by longtime friend Dr. Max Brattin to pursue finishing his schooling at OBU and obtain his bachelor's degree. In 2009, David established the Max Brattin Scholarship Fund, to help support business students, especially those studying economics, at OBU. Throughout the years David has inspired many to give towards the fund. The family of David asks that you please consider making a donation to the fund in memory of David.
