David N. Kirk, 77, of Bristol, PA passed away peacefully on March 26, 2026 in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and he was a life-long resident of Bristol Borough. He graduated from Bristol High School Class of 1967. Motivated by a deep sense of patriotism and a desire to help others in times of crisis, he served in the Army Reserves for six years.

After his time of service, Dave pursued a courtship with Frances. They have been married for 55 years. Together, Dave and his beloved wife, Frani owned and operated Bristol Florist for 40 years, sharing not only a business but a lifetime of dedication, partnership, and love. The floral arrangements they created and delivered brought joy to so many and helped to brighten dark days of others.

Dave was also a longtime member of Bristol Consolidated Fire Company.

Throughout his lifetime, Dave had a love for outdoor adventures and will be remembered as an avid hunter and master fisherman. He loved boating and traveling to various islands for deep-sea fishing expeditions. His friends and family will cherish the memories and recount the stories of his treks on the ocean or bay- both true and embellished. One of the highlights of his life was fishing at various shipwrecks at the New Jersey Shore. After his retirement, he spent his days with his wife and daughter, Francine, as well as his Grandpup, Bella, who could always be found by his side. He enjoyed many years at his shore house in Mystic Island, NJ. He spent time there casting a line in his favorite fishing spots from his boat, Captain's Lady. Dave was known as a loyal friend to many, including his fishing buddies.

Dave was predeceased by his mother, Ruth Ludwig Kirk and his father, Howard Kirk. He is survived by his loving wife, Frances Brescia Kirk, his devoted daughter, Francine Kirk, and his loyal Grandpup, Bella. Also, he is survived by his sister, Nancy Brown and several nieces, a nephew, and many close family friends.

The family requests any charitable donations in Dave’s memory be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Funeral services will be held privately under the direction of the Wade Funeral Home, Bristol Borough.
