Dorothy L. Cusano passed away peacefully at her daughter's home in Langhorne on Saturday, February 28, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was 88 years old. Born in Bristol, daughter of the late Francis and Frances (nee Petrucci) D'Ambrosio, she was a lifelong Bristol resident. Dorothy was a graduate of Bristol High School and was employed for many years as an Executive Secretary at Rohm & Haas Company. She loved to dance, play bingo, visit the casinos, and shop on QVC. Above all, Dorothy cherished time spent with her family.
Predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph J. Cusano, Jr., she is survived by her loving daughters, Michelle Biernat and her husband, Robert, and Donna Ward and her husband, Chuck. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Robert Biernat, Jr. (Krista), Ryan Joseph Biernat (Brittany), Kelly Michelle Ward, and Allison "Sheenie" Ward, and five great-grandchildren, RJ, Kyla, Jack, Reyna, and Bria. She is also survived by her cousin, Nunzie Sospetti, whom she loved like a brother, her brother-in-law, Armand Cusano, her sister-in-law, Nancy Starner, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was also predeceased by her sister, Mary Jane Smith, and her brother, Sam D'Ambrosio.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Life St. Mary for the loving care they provided Dorothy.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Monday, March 9, 2026, 11am at St. Mark Church, 1025 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough. Interment, Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Langhorne. Friends may call from 9:30am until time of Mass at the Church. Arrangements are under the direction of the Wade Funeral Home, Bristol Borough. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Life St. Mary, 2500 Northgate Drive, Featerville-Trevose, PA 19053.
