Dave was such a good-hearted man. I knew him through the Fall Creek Blacksmiths. He was a good friend to my parents. He frequently visited them while they each were hospitalized, and helped the other blacksmiths complete my father's final blacksmith project. He will be sorely missed.

My condolences to the Kline family. I worked with Dave for many years in Albany, GA, Anderson, IN and Kokomo, IN. I considered him a friend, peer and, in many respects, a mentor. He was a top-notch engineer with an incredible work ethic and commitment to excellence. He made those around him better. While he expected the best from those that worked for and with him, he was always available to answer questions and provide assistance. He was selfless and not concerned about getting credit (even when credit was due)..he just wanted the work to be done well. Beyond all of his technical capabilities and contributions, I had an even greater appreciation for his kindness, sense of humor and willingness to help anyone with anything. It was obvious that Dave had a very deep love for his family as he spoke of them often and in great detail when our discussions at work went beyond business. Kline family, you are and will continue to be in my prayers.

Dave was my supervisor and friend while we worked together in Kokomo. He was a hard working, kind man and an intelligent engineer. While working on some of the equipment, rings were dangerous and not to be worn. I will always remember Dave with black electrical tape wrapped around his wedding ring to comply with safety issues. To Pat and her family, my prayers are with you during this difficult time. He will be greatly missed.

My sincere Condolences to the family left to grieve. I can remember Dave as if it wasn't all that long ago walking/fast down the aisles of Plant 29 Delco-Remy in Albany Georgia where I also worked. A quite studious nice man are the words that I'd use to describe my memories of Dave. When called about a problem he would always ask the person directly involved with it. Rest In Peace my man.

My thoughts and prayers are with Dave's family. I worked with Dave at the Albany, Ga. Delco Remy plant. He was a great engineer especially on that computer chip operated line that was driving most of us crazy. He took all the problems and worked on it with us until it was right. Good man, good friend.

I am so shocked to hear of this. I worked with Dave at Delco-Remy in Albany since his arrival there until the closure.I had the wonderful opportunity to know his family as his children attended Riverview Academy with my son's. May the Lord wrap his loving and comforting arms around the family at this time.
