David A. Kohler, age 76, of Slinger Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 16, 2024, in his home surrounded by his loving family.
David was born on June 6, 1947, to his parents Stephen and Silvia (nee Hagen) Kohler in Hartford Wisconsin.
David proudly served our country in the U.S Army from 1966 to 1968. He later went on to enjoy his work as a Truck Driver and working for Caravan as a supervisor. Throughout his life David loved to collect paintings, watching Alaskan T.V shows, going on drives, and reading the newspaper and his Bible. However, nothing was more important in David's life than his faith, being a member to St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Slinger, and his spending time with his cherished family.
David is survived by his wife, Sandy Kohler; children, Chris, Nick, and Elizabeth Kohler; grandchildren, Marco and Klayton Kohler; siblings, Bonnie Paczkowski, Gloria (Don) Bublitz, Steven (Dawn) Kohler, Linda (Jim) Rohleder. He is further survived by other loved family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents Stephen and Silvia Kohler.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to help the family cover funeral expenses would be greatly appreciated.
A Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, April 6th, 2024, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church (799 St. Paul Dr, Slinger, WI 53086) at 11:00 a.m. with pastor Ben Golisch officiating.
