David Kolafa

Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother & dear friend passed away peacefully @ home after a brief illness surrounded by his loving family.
David was born Aug 16, 1963 to Barbara & Charlie Kolafa in East Bernard. They lived in that area before moving to Clute where he grew up & lived his entire life in & around the Kyle Rd neighborhood.
David came from humble beginnings & was a self made man learning to fish & hunt from an early age. He held this passion his entire life sharing it with his family.
At B'Wood he took a shop mechanics class where he discovered his natural born talent as a Master Mechanic. This became his career where he worked his way up from shop technician at Dow to Service Mng. @ United Rentals.
David's last project of love was just recently completed with his youngest son Cody on my family's 1968 Ford Fairlane to perfection. We'd expect no less.
David loved his family deeply & with fierce protection. He was the most proud of being a Grandfather, TaTa.
Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife & partner of 39 years Tinna, Sons Daniel (Kristina), Cody, Father Charlie, Brother Rick (Danna), Sisters Kelly, Deanna (Thomas), grandchildren, nieces & nephews.
Preceding him in death are his Mother Barbara & Brother Timmy.
Celebration of David's life will be Sat. July 29th from 3-4 @ Stroud Funeral Home Clute.
