David Kramer,42, of Chandler, passed away early on Sunday, April 27, 2025 at Select Medical Hospital in Evansville, due to injuries suffered in a vehicle accident on Christmas Eve. David was born on April 10, 1983 in Vincennes, the son of Brian and Donna Kramer. David was a 2002 graduate of Lincoln High School and a 2005 graduate of Vincennes University. David was employed by K.C. Trucking in Princeton and served his country in the Indiana National Guard.
David was a fan of Indiana University Basketball and racing, from Tri State Speedway in Haubstadt to the Indianapolis 500. He was an avid bowler and had participated in league bowling since his childhood. He was a dedicated volunteer at the Knox County Fair year after year. David took great pride in being known as "Uncle D" to his two nephews and two nieces.
David is survived by his parents, Brian and Donna Kramer; brother, Andrew (Erica); sister, Emily Cobb (Logan); nephews, Oliver and Gavin Cobb; nieces, Soleil and Georgene Kramer; paternal grandfather, Gilbert Kramer; fiancee, Heather Trice and her son Kyle, and her granddaughter, Ophelia; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins. David was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, George and Ruth Eichelberger; paternal grandmother, Fay Kramer; aunt, Jody Gurgevich; uncle, Walter Gize; cousin, Greg Gize; and his infant brother, Dennis.
Visitation will be held Saturday, May 3, 2025 from 11:00 am until the service time at 2:00 pm. at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home. Rev. Pete White will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in David's honor to the Knox County Fair of the charity of your choosing. A bereavement dinner will be held immediately after the service at Community Church of Vincennes Fellowship Hall, 1548 S. Hart Street Road (across from Lincoln High School). Park and enter at the rear of the building. Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the care of David.
