David Ledford Obituary
Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at the Sosebee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Edwin Bishop and Rev. Thomas Wheeler officianting. Interment will follow in Sharp Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 23rd from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
David was a U.S. Army Veteran. He worked at Clayton Food Store for over 20 years and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Esteen Ledford; son, Ryan David Ledford; and sisters, Betty Payne and Nancy Dean; survivors are his wife of over 50 years, Sue Ledford; son, Devin Ledford; siblings, Jean Fendley, Bill Ledford (Linda), Carol Painter (Herman), Hoyt Ledford (Sandra), Angie Smith (Art) and Debbie Chadwick; as well as beloved neices, nephews, cousins, in-laws and many friends.
