Franklin "Dee" Riddle

Franklin "Dee" Riddle, age 83, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 5, 2025.He was born on November 14, 1942, in Robbinsville, North Carolina.
Dee worked in construction for many years, and his work took him all over the country. He ultimately found his home in Canton, Georgia, where he settled while his sons were in high school and built a life filled with family and cherished memories.
In his younger years, Dee was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and especially coon hunting. He enjoyed woodworking and took great pride in creating things with his hands.
Above all, Dee cherished his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He treasured every moment spent making memories with them. He was a quiet-spoken, loving man who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Dee is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, June Riddle; sons, Jack Riddle (Emily) and Chris Riddle (Kelley); grandchildren, Nathan Riddle (Sarah), Calvin Riddle (Emma), Jordan Riddle (Madison), Jackson Riddle (Leah), Mary Fransis Riddle, Abigail Sharif (Zain), Christopher Riddle, and Isabelle Riddle; eight great-grandchildren, Miles, Owen, Wesley, Olivia, Emersyn, Maggie, Charlie, and Lydia; brother, Steve Riddle (Opal); as well as numerous beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Services will be privately held at a later date.
