Timothy B. Gravley

Timothy B. Gravley, 62, died at his home on December 7, 2025. Tim was a mechanic by trade and truly enjoyed the challenges his profession brought, for 44 years he serviced many Cherokee County residents and made great friends. He also enjoyed refurbished late model cars, camping and spending time with family.
He was devoted to his family. He is survived by his daughter Carrie Joel (Kevin), son Matt Gravley (Janet), son Devin Gravley; 6 grandchildren, Devin Joel (Rylee), Landen Joel (Maddie), Logan Joel (Jess), Tucker Formby (Leeah), Makenna and Layla Gravley. Sister, Anna Gravley West, her children Ashley (Dustin) Sumner and Cody West (Melissa). Brother, Tony Gravley (Donna), his children Brandon (Paige) and Melanie. He was a Great Uncle to Roper, Oakley, Lakelyn, Kaydence, Emma, Winston and Rowan. Aunts, uncles, cousins and many close friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Lynne; his brother Bobby, great nephew Trenton, parents Linda and Louis and In-laws Martha and Charlie Watson.
He will be so greatly missed by all.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at the Sosebee Memorial Chapel with Rev. David Cain officiating. Interment will follow in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 9th from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday, December 10th from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
