David Lee Riddle, a cherished father, grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2025, in Portage, Michigan. Born on August 11, 1959, in Albion, Michigan, David was known for his kind personality and unwavering faith in God. He approached life with a sense of humor, always ready with a joke that could brighten the mood of those around him.
A devoted member of Grace Baptist Church in Marshall, David dedicated much of his life to his spiritual community until his health prevented him from attending. His faith was a guiding force, shaping his life and interactions.
David was an avid sports fan, with a particular love for baseball, especially the Detroit Tigers. His loyalty extended to the Detroit Lions, whom he supported fervently, undeterred by their ups and downs. He found joy in karaoke, where he showcased his love of music and entertainment, bringing smiles to friends and family alike.
He is survived by his beloved children, Marilea (Sam Tonche) Riddle, Dustin Riddle, and Amber Wallen. David was a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in his heart. He also leaves behind his siblings, Fred, Sally, Shirley, and Brenda, who will carry his memory with them.
David's love and laughter will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He has been reunited with his loving wife, Brenda Riddle, along with his parents, James and Mary Riddle, and his brother, James Riddle, who preceded him in death. His enduring spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to share in his life.
