David Levin

David Levin, age 74, formerly of Framingham passed away on October 22, 2025. Loving husband of the late Terry Levin (Karas). Father of Jeremy and his wife Keith, Andy and his wife Stacy, and Jason and his partner Jenny. Beloved Papa to Ashley, Kyle, Amber, and Mason. Brother to Judy and Paul Levin. He passed following a lengthy and difficult battle with colon cancer.

David grew up in Newton, was a past president of Temple Reyim USY and a graduate of the original Newton High School, 1968. He went on to earn a B.S. degree in business administration from the University of Vermont, 1972. He enjoyed a challenging career of progressive responsibilities in the glass distribution industry and specialty automotive supply equipment Field.

David, or Dave as he was often known, was an avid home and auto repair enthusiast with an extensive tool collection and workshop that resembled a well-stocked hardware store. "Don't throw it away, I'll fix it" was often heard, and he usually did.

Though never fully retired, he found great pleasure in a second career driving a school bus all over New England. He loved being around children of all ages and cherished the memories of hundreds of schools and destinations visited over many years. He proudly displayed a beautiful trophy for a first-place victory in the 1993 state school bus drivers' safety and skills rodeo in his rookie year. While employed by the Town of Framingham he served as the resident of the School Bus Drivers association for many years.

As a lifelong cat lover, Dave was never without furry friends. Recently, he took hours of great enjoyment with his littermate buddies Snickers and Scooter. He also cherished spending time at Crescent Lake in Acworth, NH.

Graveside services will be held Monday, October 27 at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham St, Sharon, MA at 10:45am. There will be no shiva.

Contributions in his memory may be made to a cancer care fund or organization dedicated to the prevention of cruelty to animals.
