He enjoyed playing little league, pond hockey, football and going to the quarry to hang out with his friends too. Dave also played football in high school. He went to Catholic Central High School, but later transferred to Carlson High School shortly after it opened, being only the second class to graduate from CHS in 1967.
Dave hired into Woodhaven Ford Stamping plant shortly after graduation. He made a good life for himself and his family. Dave enjoyed boating, fishing, hunting and most things outdoors. There wasn't anything Dave couldn't help you figure out or build. He finally retired after 37+ years as a Tool & Dye Leader from Ford WSP on January 1, 2005. He began to enjoy retirement with his family & favorite cockerspaniel, Chloe.
After a grand family/retirement cruise to the Caribbean in 2014, Dave has lived out the remainder of his years in Rockwood with his wife, Sheryl, and primary caregiver and son, Christopher, and of course his ever faithful 4-legged buddy, Milo. His favorite times were family dinners, holidays, watching football games with the gang, having grandbabies grab him a "Busch Pop", sneaking off for a smoke and watching his favorite shows: Blue Bloods, Law & Order SVU & NCIS!
