David Henry Lingle

David Henry Lingle, 87, of Morgantown, passed away on Wednesday, December 3rd, 2025.
David was born on August 20, 1938 in Hollywood, CA, a son of the late Euing and Naomi Strecker Lingle.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years Barbara Eileen Cantis Lingle; and a brother, Richard Lingle and his wife Judy of Lake Tahoe, CA and their son Christopher and his wife Kendra of Reno, NE. Also, he was very close to his wife's family - his brothers-in-law Daniel Cantis and his wife Deborah of Morgantown, their sons, David's nephews, Drew Cantis and his wife Maxine and their children Camron and Isabel, and Dean Cantis and his wife Katy of Morgantown, and his other brother-in-law Douglas Cantis of Morgantown.
Mr. Lingle was a local businessman of more than 40 years. He and his wife were the owners of BL Interiors / Mountaineer Home Furnishings. He was a past member of both the Morgantown and Cheat Lake Rotary Clubs for many years. David was a proud veteran of the United States Army,. He was a very loving and kind person who was not only very well thought of by his friends, but dearly loved by his family.
Per David's request, he will be cremated and a private gathering for his immediate family will be held at a later date.
