David Long, age 71, of Wilmington, and formerly of Sabina, passed away Saturday, December 6, 2025.
Born in Cincinnati on July 9, 1954, he was the son of Clarence and Opie Long.
David worked as a supervisor at New Sabina Industries. He was a former Scout Master for many years in Norwood. A lifelong gardener, David loved to grow things, enjoyed tinkering, repairing electronics, and anything mechanical with cars.
David was preceded in death by his wife of nearly 25 years, Linda Darnell Long.
He is survived by his beloved daughter, Marie Long, and grandsons: Gabriel, Chancellor, and Vincent Wright.
A graveside service, in Kentucky, will be held at the convenience of the family.
