David Lothridge Obituary

David R. Lothridge
October 5, 2024
David R. Lothridge, 65, of East Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 5, 2024. Born September 27, 1959, he was the son of Carolyn Lothridge and the late Irving Lothridge. David married the love of his life, Tracy on May 4, 1984.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Tracy (Faucher) Lothridge; mother, Carolyn Lothridge; sons, Gregory (Emily) Lothridge and Steven Lothridge; brother to Gale Lawler, Gary (Debi) Lothridge and Donna (Butch) Miller; and many nieces and nephews.
David worked at Kaman Bearing, later known as Kaman Industrial Technologies from December 1978-June 2020, a career spanning 42 years. He retired as the Regional Director-Great Lakes.
David had a passion for sports and played basketball, football and lacrosse during high school. He enjoyed hunting, four wheeling, and spending time with family. He loved the "Lothridge" camp and the "Faucher" camp on Tug Hill spending countless hours with family and friends.
His real pride and joy were his two son's Greg and Steve. David was quick to handout nicknames "The Bigman" and "My Old Friend" were a common greeting for his boys. He spent time coaching them in their younger years and attending all the sporting events throughout high school, college, and Greg's professional basketball career. He was thrilled to welcome Emily as a daughter in April of 2024.
David was a devoted husband, father, son, brother and friend. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Calling hours will be Thursday, October 10 from 4-7 pm at Delaney Greabell Adydan Funeral Home, 241 Kinne Street, East Syracuse. Services will be at the convenience of the family.
