David Lozoponi Obituary

At the age of three, Dave was disabled by polio. Though life presented physical challenges, he never let them define him. He faced every day with courage, determination, and joy. Dave loved his family, his friends, and life itself. Now at peace, he is running through heaven, enjoying his legs once more. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Dave was a graduate of Liverpool High School and Le Moyne College. A talented musician, he especially loved playing the guitar, including classical pieces, which brought joy to those around him.
He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Bernice Lozoponi.
Dave is survived by his siblings: Joey Lozoponi of Arizona; Sandra Getek of North Syracuse; Michele (John) Dalessandro of Liverpool; Terry Wright of Florida; Nick Lozoponi (Dr. Cathy Berry) of Syracuse; and Jeff Lozoponi (Heidi) of Liverpool; along with several nieces and nephews who adored him.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2025, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Farone & Son, Inc. Funeral Home, 4899 W. Taft Road, Liverpool, NY 13088.
In memory of Dave, and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 516 Carew St., Springfield, MA 01104.
