David Lucero Obituary
He was born on August 19, 1942 to Delfido Lucero and Aurora Aragon Lucero in Las Vegas, NM.
He was a catholic and member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church.
David was a loving brother, uncle and friend. He enjoyed singing and entertaining the bank clerks. People described him as a "happy go lucky man".
David is preceded in death by his parents; sisters: Ambrosia Sanchez. Tommie Roybal and Marcella Martinez; brothers: Casey Lucero, Salvador Lucero and Benjamin Lucero.
He is survived by his girlfriend: Priscilla Maust of Las Vegas, NM; sisters: Flora Rice of Denver, CO, Valentina Ulibarri (Antonio), Viola Lopez both of Las Vegas, NM, Nemecia Lucero of Albuquerque, NM and Charlotte Lucero of Las Vegas, NM; sister-in-law: Sadie Lucero of Denver CO.; best friend: Robert Trujillo of Las Vegas, NM; numerous: nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Rosary service will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at 7:00pm at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Las Vegas, NM.
Funeral mass will be held on Friday, March 11, 2022 at 3:00pm at Our Lady of Sorrows Church with Father Rob Yaksich as celebrant.
Interment will follow at San Jose Cemetery in Las Vegas, NM with the following serving as Pallbearers Hilario Lucero, Benji Lopez. Ernesto Lucero, Robert Trujillo, Dennis Maloney and Michael Martinez. Honorary Pallbearers will be all his remaining nieces and nephews.
