David Luu, age 53, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2025, in Elk Grove, California, surrounded by his family. His beloved wife, Fiona Chen-Luu, held his hand, her singing and prayers accompanying his gentle departure.

David was born on November 30, 1971, in Saigon, Vietnam. He immigrated to the United States in 1983 with his family and built a life rooted in service and dedication. A proud Navy veteran, he served his country with honor, a decision motivated by his deep commitment to supporting his family as the eldest son. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Business in Information System at San Francisco State University and established a successful career in IT support and services. For over twenty years, David served as an End-User Support Engineer in multiple well-known organizations, where he was renowned for his exceptional customer service and technical expertise.

In 2017, David embraced Christianity and was baptized in the Laguna Chinese Baptist Church. His faith was a cornerstone of his life, and he actively participated in church fellowship and committee, always eager to serve God and his community.

David was a devoted husband and a loving father. His family was his greatest joy, and he cherished moments spent traveling and exploring new culinary experiences. He was also a meticulous planner, especially regarding financial matters, always ensuring his family's security and well-being.

David was a hardworking and respected colleague, known for his positive attitude and willingness to help others. He was a man of great characters, remembered for his filial devotion, loving nature, and thoughtful consideration.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Fiona; his cherished daughter, Abigail Luu; his parents, Harry Luu and Mary Luong Luu; his four younger brothers; and his younger sister.

A memorial service to celebrate David’s life will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the chapel of East Lawn Elk Grove Memorial Park & Mortuary, 9189 East Stockton Boulevard Elk Grove, CA 95624, interment will follow the service.
