David Paul MacDougall, born May 11, 1948, in Bangor, Maine, passed away on July 29, 2025, at the age of 77. He was a longtime resident of East Corinth, where he built a life rooted in love, family, and quiet strength.
David was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Belinda J. MacDougall, and a proud father to his two children, Devin MacDougall and Marissa M. MacDougall. He also had great admiration and respect for his son-in-law, David Johnson. As a grandfather, David took immense joy in the lives of Dominik Parker and Shyloe Johnson. He was especially proud of his grandsons' accomplishments, including service in the U.S. Navy and participation in JROTC-achievements that reflected the values of discipline, service, and leadership he deeply admired.
David is survived by his brothers, Rob MacDougall and Eric MacDougall; his sisters-in-law, Marisa MacDougall and Julie Byther; and Steven Parker, Dominik's father. He cherished his extended family and held a deep appreciation for the close bonds they shared throughout the years.
David will be remembered not only for his steady presence and quiet strength, but also for his warm and genuine smile-a smile that brought comfort, laughter, and light to those around him.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the honor of knowing him.
