David Lee Manser age 84, passed peacefully in his home in Kansas City Missouri on Sunday, May 12, 2024, he was surrounded by his loved ones. David was born in Kansas City, Missouri November 13, 1939, the son of William Douglas Manser and Ruth Grimes Manser. He was a loving father, grandfather, and friend to all that knew him. David enjoyed hunting, fishing, listening to music and spending quiet time in the woods. He was a man who would do anything for anyone who ask him for help. He enjoyed going to auctions and thrift stores. This is where he found his special friend Dora.
David is preceded in death by this parents, William (Jack) and Ruth Manser, three brothers, Donald Manser, Daniel (Dean) Manser and Tudy Manser, two sisters, Betty Gilpin, and Nadean Preece, one niece, Sharon Javaux and a nephew Doug Manser. He leaves behind his daughter, Wendy Andrews, granddaughter, Heather Lafromboise, grandson, Joshua Andrews, great-grandchildren, Skylar, Joseph, Cecelia, Aliya and Addison.
A celebration remembering his life well lived will be held Saturday, June 8th, 2024, at Terrace Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 801 NW 108th Street, Kansas City, Missouri 64155. Visitation will begin at 10AM, service will follow at 11AM.
