David Wayne Marburger, 68 of Peru passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday May 21st, 2025.
He was born March 30th, 1957, to John S and Lillian "Betty" Marburger McFarling. He Married Angela Kris (Reed) Marburger on April 18th, 1987. She survives.
In the past, David was president of Marburger Refrigerated Express, Inc, and part owner of Marburger Foods. He currently owned and operated David Incorporated, a custom metal fabrication shop.
David was one of those men who could fix or figure out anything. He was a jack of all trades. If there was a problem with anything David could fix it or build it. He was our family's go-to person.
David loved music and played in many rock and roll bands throughout his life. He played with Probable Cause (bass), Mister Normal (bass), Reverend Boogieman (Guitar) and Bad Karma (Guitar)
In addition to his wife, he is also survived by his children, Molly Marburger-Emry, Peru and Kristopher Marburger (Alexis Hall) Peru. Two grandchildren, Ryleigh Marburger, Peru and Raiden Emry, Peru. He is also survived by brothers, John Marburger (Rosemary), Carmel, Paul Marburger (Pam), Peru and sister Lisa Marburger Stanfield (Rob), Peru. He is also survived by and loved his many nieces and nephews.
David is preceded in death by his father John S. Marburger and Stepfather Donald McFarling.
A celebration in honor of David will be held at Riverview Event Center on Thursday, May 29,2025 from 4pm to 7pm.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Serenity House Women's Recovery Home of Peru via check or via Cashapp ($misscrysann) and Maconaquah High School Music Department.
