David N. Marfeo Sr.

David N. Marfeo Sr., 83, passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2024. He was the beloved husband of the late Helen Joyce Marfeo (Greene) for nearly 50 years. Born in Providence, David was the devoted son of the late Nicholas Marfeo and Angelina Marfeo (Calcagni). He is survived by his loving children Danny Marfeo (Susan), Michael Marfeo (Mary) and Cheryl Fortier (Kevin); his grandchildren Nicole Fontenault (Keith), Heather Marfeo, Jessica Marfeo, Joseph Marfeo, Ashley Fortier and David Fortier; as well as by his great grandchildren Gianni, Zachari, Victoria, Aria, Trayvon and Aaliyah. David is predeceased by his beloved son David Marfeo Jr., grandson Michael Marfeo Jr. and his sister Dolores Giovanucci. He also leaves behind many relatives and close friends.
David owned and operated several businesses throughout his career, most notably D&D Service and Honda Suzuki World in Warwick, RI. He had a passion and a talent for mechanics, automobiles and motorcycles that he passed on to his family and friends. In his free time, he loved working on custom projects, especially his custom-built hot rod and race cars, camping with his family and traveling with his wife, family and friends. Above all, he loved and cherished his family who will all miss him dearly.
David's funeral will be held on Monday, November 18, 2024 at 8:30 am from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Avenue, Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in St. Kevin Church, 333 Sandy Lane, Warwick. His burial will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery, West Greenwich. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, from 3:00pm-6:00pm.
