Our beloved sister, aunt, and friend, MaryAnn Rita Marfeo, 73 of North Providence passed away at Miriam Hospital on September 1st, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 3rd, 1950, to Antonio and Eugenia (Oswalski) Marfeo. She is survived by her siblings Kenneth Marfeo, Rosa DiSpirito and Eugenia (Jeannie) Marfeo along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, whom she adored and who adored her. She was predeceased by her beloved brothers Anthony, Savino and Edward Marfeo. She also leaves behind her two cherished cats, Jo-Jo and Lily.
MaryAnn will always be remembered for being kind and loving, sweet and gentle. She was generous, talented, hardworking and enjoyed a long and successful career during the height of Rhode Island's bustling jewelry industry. She was the owner operator of Toro Mfg. and Helen Mfg.; she was a talented jewelry designer and successful entrepreneur for many years before retiring. She was very sweet with a great sense of humor a big heart. A great sister, aunt and friend who was always up for a cup of coffee, a good card game with something delicious smelling coming from the stove.
She also was a lover of all animals, a devoted Elvis fan. She loved to golf when she was younger. In her retirement, she enjoyed reading mystery novels, she took pride in her Sunday sauce and her homegrown tomatoes. She enjoyed her coffee, cigarettes. She relished Christmas holidays with Elvis Christmas carols playing and family gathered.
Funeral services for Maryann to which family and friends are respectfully invited to attend, will be held at St Anns Cemetery, Friday, September 8th, at 11 am.
