David L. Martin, was born on February 25, 1957 and entered Eternal Life on March 23, 2024, with his loved ones by his side.
Brother to Evelyn M. Crochet (Tim), Windle Martin (Sherry), Brenda Alayan, and Alice M. Freeman (Mark).
He was preceded in death by his parents, the late Howard W. Martin and the late Ruby Jewell Watts Ezzell; sister, Linda M. Stokes, and brother Marvin D. Martin; grandparents, Tillie Martin (Rosalee), Irene Brumfield Holmes; Ethel Holmes Watts and Ellis Watts along with his canine companion, Angel. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
David was a devout Christian. He enjoyed the outdoors, watching the wildlife and listening to the birds. He never met a stranger and made friends wherever he went. He looked forward to spending time with his family at reunions in Mississippi.
Graveside Services will be held at John Felder Memorial Park, 8071 W. Topisaw S, Summit, MS 39666 on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at 11 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to First Baptist Church of Belle Chasse, 8828 LA-23, Belle Chasse, LA 70037 (fbcbellechasse.com) or to the charity of your choice.
Little brother, you will be missed. Thank you, Lord, for holding our angels in your arms.
