David C. Martin

David Carlyle Martin, 59, husband of 40 years to Robin Martin, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 5, 2025. 

Born July 8, 1965 in Petersburg, VA, David was the son of the late Edward Martin and Clara Martin. He was a general superintendent for M.B. Kahn Construction and was a member at First Baptist Church of Mayo. 

In addition to his loving wife, David is survived by his daughter, Jessica Suttles and her husband Tommy of Cowpens; sister-in-law, Terri Martin of Conway, SC; cousin, Ricky Martin (Amelia) of Gaffney, SC; step-mother, Robin McKinney Martin of Spartanburg, SC; step-sisters, Jan Cash (Lanny) of Mayo, SC and Candace Hudson (Jake) of Spartanburg, SC; grandchildren, Luke, Ada and Bo Suttles; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by his brother, Danny Martin.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 12:50 PM on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at the chapel of Harris-Nadeau Mortuary. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 PM in the chapel with Rev. Tyler Estes officiating.
