Weslaco- David Mata, 54, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at Doctors Hospital at Renaissances in Edinburg.
Mr. Mata was born on July 4, 1969 to Mr. Rufino Mata and Mrs. Micaela Preciado Mata in Weslaco, Texas.
Mr. Mata is preceded in death by his father, Rufino Mata.
Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Yolanda G. Mata; his son, Sebastian Rocky Mata; his daughters, Mikayla B. Mata, Samantha Mata; his mother, Micaela Mata; his brothers, Francisco Mata, Rufino Mata; his sisters, Josie Mata, Guadalupe Mata, Sylvia Mata.
Visitation for Mr. David Mata is scheduled for Tuesday, December 19, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens in Weslaco. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at 10:00 am at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Weslaco. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco.
