He was born February 22, 1970, in Dover, NH, and is the son of the late Kenneth Jon May and Theresa Ann (Brown) May.
David attended Dover Schools and worked for his father's garage till its closing in 1997. David got his CDL and delivered oil for Just Oil. For the last few years, he worked as a CNC machinist at NEFAB in Dover.
He loved all things automotive; he enjoyed working on his vehicles, attending car shows, collecting Hot Wheels, and building car models.
David leaves behind his 3 children, Logan Jon, Connor Jon, and Makayla Jane May all of Somersworth. 3 Sisters, Bethany Lapointe and her husband Kevin of Virginia Beach, VA, Carrie May and her husband Tim Nelson of Barrington, and Margaret May and her husband Bill Reeves of Durham. A brother Michael May and his wife Terri of Rochester. He is also survived by a niece Caroline and a nephew Lucas.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the GoFundMe page set up to help support his children.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday October 20, 2024, at the Rochester American Legion, 188 Eastern Ave. Rochester, NH 0386 from 11:00 am - 4:00pm.
