David Maynard Obituary
2026, in Tomball, Texas. Mr. Maynard was born on the island of St. Kitts on January 11,
1960, to Maria Smithen & Norris Maynard.
At a young age Mr. Maynard moved to St.
Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands. He graduated from the St. Croix Central High School and
attended Jackson State University. Through the years he has worked in the school
system and retail management. Mr. Maynard's "Larger Than Life" personality led him to
be admired and respected by many. His deep Love of Family and special affection for
his grandkids, was incomparable.
David A. Maynard Sr. is survived by his wife of 27 years, Renee Natasha Maynard, their
four children, Ky-mani, Kai, Kiara, & Anthony D. Maynard (Tony). Children of previous
marriage, David Maynard Jr. (Pouchie), Theresa Maynard (Resa), Sandradee Maynard
(Dee) and Anthony J. Maynard (AJ). His sons Shae Durr, DeMario McMillan Sr. and
Malachi Whalen; daughter-in-law Latoya Maynard; son-in-law Steven Johnson;
granddaughters Nahla & Bella Maynard, Brianna & Brielle Johnson, Jayla Williams,
Kiyah, Samiyah & Aalayah Maynard, Amyah Durr, Ava McMillian, and Mariah Scott;
grandsons Brandon Johnson, Eric Jr., Princeton & Joshua Williams, Demetrius &
Isaiah Maynard, Eliakim Maynard, Tayveyon & Zayne Durr, DeMario McMillian Jr., and
Caden & Benjamin Whalen; great grandchild Loyalty Maynard; parents Maria Smithen
& Norris Maynard. sisters Rhona Liburd, Vera Joseph, Veronica Smithen, Bridgett &
Brenda Maynard; brothers Conrad Liburd, Roy, Rawl & Bryan Maynard; also preceded
in death by his brother Elvis Liburd; nieces and nephews too numerous to mention.
Special friends Wali Muhammad (Brother Jack), Doug Lockridge, Andrew Nguyen.
