Pastor David Harold McCall

Pastor David Harold McCall 77, of Marlinton went home to be with his Lord and Savior on February 6, 2026, at his home. Born August 9, 1948, in Summers County, WV and was a son of the late Tennie Harold and Wanda Madalene Martin McCall. He was also preceded in death by his wife Phyllis Schoolcraft McCall in 2019, and a sister Drema M. Tinney.

David was the Pastor at the Cooktown Community Church. In David's early years he was a logger, a bus driver for Snowshoe, and worked at the Tannery.

David is survived by three sons, Daniel McLaughlin of Droop, Douglas Matthew McCall and David Tennie McCall both of Marlinton, two grandchildren, Amanda McLaughlin, and Vanessa Lail, four great grandchildren, and three great great-grandchildren, three sisters, Peggy M. McCall, Linda K. Burgess, and Kathy McCall, and a brother, Joe McCall all of Marlinton.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Wednesday February 11, 2026, at the Lantz Funeral Home in Buckeye with Robert Cutlip officiating. Burial will be in the Mountain View Cemetery.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
