Jack Lewis McCall, 88, of Stanford, KY passed away on Friday, February 6, 2026, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville. Jack was born in Mt. Vernon, KY on March 15, 1937 to the late Samuel Lewis and Byrda Hensley McCall. Jack was married in 1966 to Betty Louise Calloway McCall, who preceded him in death in 2017. He was a member of the Freedom Baptist Church in Mt. Vernon, Ky. Jack served in the Army, and was a retired transmission inspector with 36 years of service at Ford Motor Company in Ohio. Jack loved the outdoors. He, along with his beloved late wife Betty, trained show horses. They trained "Tammy", a World Champion Pleasure Walking Horse in 1981. After retirement, he and Betty returned to Lincoln County, KY and jointly owned and operated Truview Farm. Jack loved and cared for each of his family. He was an avid rabbit hunter. Training beagle dogs with his son and grandsons was a passion for Jack. He enjoyed the sights and sounds of the beagles chasing the rabbits. He also enjoyed many golfing adventures. He was blessed to have enjoyed a full life while surrounded by his family.

Six Great Grandchildren: Kayce, Campbell, Wren, Elodie, Alden, & Wallis

One Sister, Kathryn Joyce "Tincy" Payne

In addition to his parents and his wife, Jack was preceded in death by three siblings, David Lewis McCall, Anna Jean McCall Rodriques, and Martha Elizabeth "Penny" McCall Holmes.

Funeral Service Date and Time: Saturday, February 14, 2026 at 3:00 PM at McKnight Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Crab Orchard, Kentucky

Officiating Minister: Dr. Douglas Wilson

After the public viewing and funeral service, cremation rites will be honored and the eventual burial will be at Freedom Cemetery, Mt. Vernon, Kentucky at a later date.

Public visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM funeral service time on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at McKnight Funeral Home
