David McConnell Obituary
David Eric McConnell, 69, of Union Twp., passed away peacefully surrounded by his sons, on Thursday morning, February 19, 2026, in his home.
Mr. McConnell was born November 18, 1956, in New Castle, a son of the late Ernest G. and Geraldine (Lytle) McConnell, and was a 1974 graduate of Lawrence County Vo Tech.
After high school, he graduated from the Pennsylvania Gunsmith School and operated his own gunsmithing business for many years. Ultimately, he retired from Fireline, Inc., Youngstown, OH.
David is survived by his two sons, Sean (Ashley) McConnell, Sanford, FL, and Kyle (Taylor) McConnell, Volant; four grandchildren, Aiden, Ian, Lily, and Jayse; sister, Diane L. McConnell, New Bedford; and brother, Tim G. McConnell, Pulaski.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Per David's wishes, there will be no services.
Arrangements entrusted to J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 111 W. Falls St., New Castle.
