Jay “Todd” Fray, 65, of Neshannock Twp., passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2026, in his home.

Todd was born February 26, 1960, in New Castle, a son of the late William J. and Harriette (Smith) Fray. After graduating from Neshannock High School in 1978, he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Northwood Institute in Midland, MI.

He began his career in finance as a runner at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and, within several years, became a trader and, soon after, a licensed broker. Within that time, he was also able to build a successful book of business before moving back to his hometown of New Castle, PA, to live with the love of his life, Kathryn, on the “other side” of Maitland Lane.

While in New Castle, he successfully pursued various endeavors in equipment leasing and financial management.

An avid reader, he also loved to swim at the New Castle YMCA, where he completed thousands of laps. Todd had a lifelong appreciation for automobiles and meticulously cleaned, maintained, and detailed his vehicles over the years.

He married his beloved bride, Kathryn Ann (Senko) Fray, on June 30, 2000. In 2002, a motorcycle accident significantly impacted both of their lives. Todd put his professional aspirations aside and graciously took on the role of becoming her devoted caregiver.

Todd is survived by a brother, Chris Fray (Katherine), of Little Rock, AR; a sister, Tyler Fray Michael, of Charlotte, NC; a sister-in-law, Ronda Fray, Waterford, MI; three nieces, Carly West (James), Sydney Senko, and Mila Michael; three nephews, Joseph G. Senko (Taylor), Samuel Senko, and Fletcher Michael; and five great-nephews.

In addition to his parents, Todd was preceded in death by his brother, Josh Fray.

Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday (2-12-26) in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 111 W. Falls St., New Castle.

A procession will leave the funeral home at 10 a.m. for Holy Spirit Parish – St. Mary’s Church, 124 N. Beaver St., for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Ben Barr, as celebrant.

Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
