Age 74, of Bethel Park, died peacefully in his sleep with his wife by his side, on Monday, March 22, 2021. Beloved husband of Judith McCrea; loving father to Janet Lynn (Patrick) McGeough, David J. (Tammy Lynn Miller) McCrea, Michael Seals, Patricia Ann (Brian) Hunt and the late Heather McCrea; cherished grandfather of Alex, Kristin, and Daniel McGeough, Kayla (Jared) Marcum, Lucille and Raymond Hunt and Alyssa, Madeline, and Alexander Gable; treasured brother to Donna Siko of Chambersburg, Dennis (Bonnie) McCrea of Pittsburgh and the late Bernard McCrea, Joanne McCrea and Jacqueline Ward; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. David was known to have a sense of adventure throughout his entire life. He would often be quoted as saying, ""If you aren't living life on the edge, you're taking up too much space."" David enjoyed the great outdoors and his family and friends. He loved to sit on his patio and use his smoker to cook his meats during family get-togethers. David was an avid biker and would ride his Harley through the countryside on a beautiful sunny day. He supported wonderful organization such as the Special Olympics and would participate with his daughter, Heather, and his step-son, Michael. David enjoyed 42 years at his place of employment with AT&T as their communication engineer manager. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Special Olympics of Pennsylvania (http://www.specialolympicspa.org/) or The Wounded Warrior Project (https://www.woundedwarriorproject.org/donate). Arrangements by BEINHAUER- CONNELL. Friends and Family are welcome at 5120 W. Library Ave, Bethel Park (412-835-7940) on Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Hope Parish, St. Valentine Catholic Church.
