Jack David Horne

Age 73 of Bethel Park, formerly of Washington, PA, went home peacefully to be with his Lord and Savior on January 9, 2026, surrounded by his family.
David is survived by his wife Sarah Scharding of 22 years; and was the devoted father to his beloved daughter Samantha Marie Horne, and Uncle to his niece and nephew Amber and Thomas Scharding. Jack David was proceeded in death by his parents Grace (Mounts) and Jack Russel Horne (Washington), and stepdaughter Sandra Scharding (Bethel Park); and many other nieces and nephews.
Jack David received an Associated Degree from Lee University in Music; and was then retired from Budget-Rental as a Service Agent since 2008.
Everyone who knew David knew of his intense family values and love for his faith. A gentle man who honored God, treasured life, loved and cherished his family deeply.
Jack David's passion was for his Lord and Savior which was nurtured and instilled in him by his mother and father; and eventually led him to be a Cornerstone Ministries Prayer Partner for over 14 years.
Jack David was an avid wrestling fan from his early years with his father to watching weekly wrestling events with his family. David loved to talk about wrestling with all fans and would convert you as well with his enthusiasm.
Jack David lived his Christian life fully as a prayer warrior, and was a committed and active member of New Day Assembly of God for the last 12 years.

Friends and family will be received at Beinhauer Funeral Home 5120 West Library Avenue, Bethel Park, PA 15102 Tuesday, January 13, 2026, from 5 pm to 8 pm. Internment at Forest Lawn Gardens, Route 19, Peters Township, Wednesday, January 14, 2026, following the service at New Day Assembly of God at 10:30 am.
