I had the privilege of working with David at LDEQ as a fellow geologist. He was truly one of a kind-brilliant, nerdy in the best way, and outrageously funny. A unique spirit with a good heart. His wonderful family is a reflection of the kind of man he was. He´s deeply missed. Fine Christian.

Oh, the great memories of David while my wife, Kay and I served with he and Shirley at Reston Bible Church in Reston, Va. We all sort of grew up in our faith during that time. Amazing that a geologist and accountant could get along so well. I would tell David about taxes and he would tell be about rocks!! The main thing we shared in common was that our faith was firmed set on the Rock - Jesus Christ! Friend - enjoy the salvation of our Lord, we will be together again! Blessings to Shirley and all his family. David was a great and godly man!

David was a classmate of mine and we both graduated SHHS in 1970. I remember David as a friend to all, a kind and gentle soul, and was so very smart. I´m lifting all of David´s family up in prayer both now and the days ahead. To God be the glory for a life well lived, and a faithful servant.
