Larry Clinton McQueen, age 82, of Biloxi, Mississippi, passed away quietly at home on Wednesday, February 25, 2026.

Larry was born on October 27, 1943, in Biloxi, Mississippi to Clinton and Helen McQueen. He was a proud graduate of Notre Dame High School.

Larry dedicated much of his life to hard work and service. He worked as a civil engineer at Keesler Air Force Base for 40 years before retiring in 2003. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy for two years aboard the USS Fiske.

A man of many talents and interests, Larry enjoyed woodworking, his tractor, watching Ole Miss football games, attending Disney trips, and most of all, spending time doing handyman work for his family. He was always happiest when helping others.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clinton and Helen McQueen; and his sister, Helen “Patsy” McQueen Choat.

Larry is survived by his wife, Anita McQueen; his daughter, Jennifer (Van) Williams; his stepdaughter, Melanie Fink; his grandchildren, Halle (Cade) Bunnell, Jacob (Kensley) Fink, and Peyton Fink; and his great-grandchildren, Amelia and Scarlett Bunnell.

A private service will be held at a later date.

Larry will be remembered for his steady presence, generous spirit, and deep love for his family. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, service, and devotion that will not be forgotten.
