David McRoberts

EASTON——David McRoberts, 81, a resident of North Easton for the past 44 years, died Friday August 19, 2016 at Good Samaritan Medical Center after a period of failing health. He was the husband of Olga (Bunting) McRoberts for 57 years. Born in Northern Ireland, a son of the late William and Mary (Jackson) McRoberts, he was raised and educated in Northern Ireland. David was employed as a carpenter in the construction industry. A longtime member of the Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church in Easton, he enjoyed gardening, woodworking and maintaining both his yard and home. An avid sports fan his passion for sports include tennis, golf, hockey and soccer. In addition to his wife Olga, he is survived by his children, David McRoberts and his wife Elisa, Karen McRoberts, Paul McRoberts and his wife Kate, and Beverley McRoberts; and four grandchildren, Kaleigh, Ashlyn, Shawn, and Julia. He was predeceased by many brothers and sisters. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Memorial Service on Friday, August 26, 2016 at Noon in The Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church, 701 Foundry Street (Rte.123) Easton.
