James W. McRoberts Jr., 88, of Belleville, IL, born Wednesday, December 2, 1936, in East St. Louis, IL passed away Thursday, June 19, 2025 at Charter Senior Living of Shiloh.
Jim was a 1954 graduate of The Western Military Academy, and graduated from Washington University in 1957 with a degree in Political Science. He received his Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Illinois College of Law in 1960. He served as a practicing attorney with McRoberts, Sheppard, Wimmer & Stiehl, P.C. and served as the Chapter 13 Bankruptcy Trustee for the Southern Illinois District of Illinois from 1967 until his retirement in 2007.
