Age 80, of Tonawanda, entered into rest on September 24, 2025. Beloved husband of the late Suzanne (nee Krebs) Mervine; loving son of the late Joseph and Marguerite (nee Thomson) Mervine; dear brother of Susan (Roger) McGarvey, Daniel (Deborah) Mervine and the late Phillip (Barbara) Mervine and late James (late Caroline) Mervine; also survived by nieces and nephews. David was a proud US Army Veteran who served during the Vietnam War. Relatives and friends may visit Lombardo Funeral Home (Northtowns Chapel), 885 Niagara Falls Blvd. near Eggert/Sheridan Dr. on Wednesday, October 15 from 4-8pm. Interment Bath National Cemetery. Condolences may be shared at www.lombardofuneralhome.com.

Dave,
my teammate, my co-worker,
my friend.
You brought the laughter and the smile that made the good times great! There were too many to count and we knew we could always count on you to procure the sponsors and lead our ball teams straight to the post game festivities. Win or lose it was always a party.
You will be fondly remembered as a leader and wherever you went the fun was sure to follow.
Rest in peace brother, knowing you knocked it out of the park.
