David B. Moore, 72, passed away January 13, 2025. He was born in Aurora, CO to Bruce and Gladys Moore. Dave grew up in Cuyahoga Falls and graduated from Hudson High School in 1970. He attended the Ohio State University and Akron University. Dave worked at various engineering firms including Morse Controls and Hale and Kullgren, retiring as Chief Engineering Designer from B.F. Goodrich Aerospace after 35 years of service. He was always ready for a road trip, and enjoyed fishing, camping, and boating on Lake Erie and Rice Lake. Dave was an eternally hopeful Browns fan and enthusiastic Ohio State Buckeyes fan. He loved gathering with family and friends and was always helping others.
Dave was preceded in death by his mother, Gladys; cousin, Janene Pierce; niece, Christine Pierce; cousin, Deanna Dolan; nephew John Rose and brother-in-law Mike Arko. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Becky; father, Bruce; children, Megan and Matt (Sarah); granddaughter, Emilia; brother, Greg (Judi); and many other relatives and friends whom he loved dearly.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Wednesday January 22, 2025 at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, where a funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Thursday January 23. Interment will be at All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of other remembrances, donations may be made to Paws and Prayers P.O. Box 67166, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, 44222-7166.
