David Devere Morris, 61, of Ewing, New Jersey, entered into rest on Monday, March 9, 2026.
David was born in Saint Peter, Barbados, on August 25, 1964. At age 10, he moved to Asbury Park, New Jersey. He later lived in Neptune and Wrightstown before settling in Ewing in 2010.David worked at numerous restaurants in his early years and had been a dedicated overnight employee at BJ’s since 2005. He enjoyed photography, fishing, cooking, gardening and spending time with his family and friends.
David leaves behind the family he cherished most: his wife, Fengyi Ko Morris; his children—David, Octavia, Jennifer, Olivia, Noelle, and Kaylie—and his son in law, Darius Hargis. He adored his grandchildren—Xavier, Isaiah, Paris, Naomi, Malia, Novah, London, and Prince—and is remembered with deep affection by many family members and friends.
He leaves this world in peace, surrounded by the love he created.
