Patsy Calabrese Obituary

Patsy Calabrese passed away in his home January 17, 2026. He was predeceased by his wife Joan and both his parents. He is survived by his current wife Elizabeth Jimenez, his son Jonathan and his partner Allen of Rockwood, NY, daughter Carrie, her husband Daniel Tyler of Mendham, NJ, their children Anna and Luke, his brother Frank and wife Diane.

Alway the avid fisherman, when he didn’t have a fly pole in his hand, he spent his down time tying flies & sharing his opinions- both of which were impeccable. Never one to hold his tongue, if you were on speaking terms with Pat, consider yourself lucky. He had a very limited tolerance for what he deemed bullpoop. Often times being compared to childhood idol Wile E. Coyote - Genius, Pat enjoyed working around the house and was truly a jack of all trades, rarely finishing a task without a little bloodshed or an updated tetanus shot. Always quick to lend a hand, he was usually the first to show up when you needed help, a ride or something repaired.

He loved to reminisce and retell stories ad nauseam, be it how he stepped on a rake & broke his glasses, almost killed himself and brother in law taking down a tree or spent a summer trying to steal a statue of a cow. He would genuinely light up with every punchline. All in all Pat loved a good laugh, a stiff drink and a dirty joke to pass the time.

He was deeply loved and will be desperately missed by his family, friends, and long-lost acquaintances. A private reprieve will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, have a strong drink and watch a John Wayne movie.
