David Grant Morton passed away on May 8, 2025 from liver failure at the age of 58. He was born September 25, 1966 in Victoria, Tx where he lived until joining the United States Air Force in 1986. David served a total of 8 yrs in the Air Force and 3 years in the United States Army as a Mental Health Specialist in Baghdad, Iraq. He moved to Manor, Tx in 2014 where he enjoyed the farm life and caring for all the animals. David is preceded in death by his parents Jerry and JoBeth Morton and his brother Mark Morton of Victoria, Tx. He is survived by his wife Jenny Morton stepchildren Hannah and Ryan Effenger (Manor, Tx) As well as his children Lauren Striddle (Victoria, Tx), Samantha McGarity-Hines and Hunter McGarity-Hines (Burleson, Tx). Grandchildren Casen, LuLu Gabriel, Ethan and Dylan Kowis.
Burial will be held at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Tx. On June 5th at 11am.
