David Mosier, 71, life-long resident of Dowagiac, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 21, 2025 at Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital in Saint Joseph. He was born September 23, 1953 in Dowagiac to Jerry and Carol (Malch) Mosier.

The family will receive guests from 2pm until time of celebration of life service at 4pm, Friday, September 26, 2025 at Grace Apostolic Lighthouse Church, 47377 M-51, Decatur. Interment will be held privately. Memorial contributions can be given in David's name to the church.

David worked for many years at Ameriwood Industries in Dowagiac. After his retirement, he enjoyed working for the past several years at Wal-Mart. When not at work, you could often find David spending time in his favorite place, relaxing in his recliner! He also enjoyed time outdoors fishing. He was a happy-go-lucky guy who always had a smile on his face, even when his wife and her twin sister would get together to "plan their next project." He was a faithful member of Grace Apostolic Lighthouse Church and was devoted to his God.

David will be missed by his wife, Blenda (Stark) Mosier, whom he married on December 13, 1974 in Dowagiac; his son, David Anthony (Jamie Ascue) Mosier; his granddaughter, Emily Mosier; and his siblings, Dennis Mosier, Dana James, Robert Mosier and Rob Mosier.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Jerry "Skip" Mosier; and his parents.

Arrangements entrusted to Newell Chapel, Decatur 269-423-2561. Online condolences can be given at www.newellchapel.com.
